Top 2 Tuesday

Today's topic is Top 2 things I've learned about money

1.That money really doesn't grow on trees. Yes, believe it or not...there is no possible way to have a money tree...and if somehow you have one, please let me know because I would like to share in your goodness of a money tree. I have never ever been a saver. My mom says the minute I get money it burns a hole in my pocket. As I get older, I am realizing the importance of needs vs. wants as well as the importance of saving. Now, have a saved much...not really? But I know I need to save and I try too...its just that sometimes, tires go flat, washing machines explode and that really cute shirt isn't always going to be on sale.

2. That couponing isn't just for old ladies. I love using coupons. A couple of weekends ago I even bought a cute little coupon holder. Hey, if I can save 1.00 off milk...it's totally worth cutting out coupons. Milk is getting pricey, especially Soy milk. I love looking at my receipt seeing how much I saved. Go ahead, call me a dork. But, I am a dork that just saved $1.00 on my milk. Booya!!

What are you money tips, go here and link up.

Happy Tuesday loves!

I'm very proud of you for saving some $$$ even if it's $1.00 off of soymilk. It's a start.

Yes, money tree(s) would be very nice.

I like your mom's idea of plural money tree(s). An orchard of them would be splendid. Of course, I'd even settle for one... :)

Regarding the saving, good for you! The little things add up.
