The Weekend

Hey y'all!!

I finally have a fun weekend that I need to blog about...so what if it's Wednesday and I have needed a couple of days to catch up...I think this means that I am old.

I have been sick for the last couple of days and fortunately I have a job that allows me to work from home...except today I am working from the hospital room of my Papa. He is in here for some chest/stomach pains and they are running some tests, so if y'all would please say a prayer for him...I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks loves.

Let's talk about this weekend.
I went back home to the 918..aka Tulsa area.
It was a whirlwind of a weekend. I had a million things planned, people to see and I needed to pack up my house...or start packing up my house.
I may or may not have gotten anything packed.
Oh well....when fun is to be had, you have to let something go..and packing it was.

Saturday I was up bright and early, put on my orange and headed to the greatest place on earth.
Stillwater.
Home of the limey, the cowboys, pistol pete and all my fond memories from college.
Bestie and I got to Stilly and started out morning out right with a bloody mary.
Sadly no picture.
Afterwards we grabbed some drinks to go and headed to tailgate and do some Arby's work.

Bestie does Marketing for Arby's and we do this tailgate for them...well, I may or may not have traded some Free Arby's Curly Fries cards for a couple of jello shots.
People love their Curly Fries...and I love me some jello shots on game day.

Now for the best part of the day, besides our win against TCU...I had my first blogger meet-up with none other than my fellow OSU alum and the sweetest, cutest, funniest, blonde-haired blogger, Sami from Sami's Shenanigans.
(I stole this picture from her, she is way better at taking pictures than I am)
She is exactly like she is on her blog, which is super sweet and hilarious, LOVE her. I could tell right off, that we would be great friends!! I wish we could have chatted longer, but it was so GREAT to see her.
Sami...we are so going to have to plan another blogger meet up!
Love ya girl!

I realized fast that I am no longer young and can't hang like I used to after tailgating all day, cheering on the cowboys, and going to a Halloween party afterwards...which I left early...and was in bed by ten.
It sucks getting old.

On Sunday, I went to this handsome man's first birthday party...Little Man style.
He is adorable, his sister is adorable...actually the whole family is adorable. I just adore them so much.
We had a great time and it was so nice to spend time celebrating a birthday...perfect way to end the weekend.

Anyway...that's the weekend and might be the only fun weekend for a little while. My work schedule is getting to be a little crazy for November.

Please keep both my grandparents in your prayers.
Thanks guys :)

That time I almost bought some cows

I know, I know...no need to adjust your eyes...I am indeed blogging two days in a row!!
Woah...watch out...I just might be back on the bloggy track.
For now anyway.

I was born and raised in the country, actually I think the only time I ever really lived in "town" has been went I went off to college and lived in Stillwater.
GO POKES
and after I graduated college, I have been living in town for like the last six years.
That is up until about two months ago when I re-located for my new job and have been staying with the Nana and Papa on their ol' farm.

Let me tell you...you can take the girl out of the country but you can't take the country out of the girl.
I've always loved living in the country...it's spacious, you actually have room to do things. My dogs get to run all over the place...and they LOVE it.

I love me some peace and quite.
No trains
No sirens
No crazy-ass stupid neighbors in a blue house with fifty cars and five hundred kids driving you batty.
Actually Nana and Papa do have one crazy-ass neighbor, who I have not quite figured out yet...but he is on my list.

I do however, feel as though Nana and Papa have all this land and nothing to occupy it.
Therefore, I almost bought some cows.

You heard me...I almost bought some cows.

Yes, I grew up in the country but I might be the most clueless country girl you have ever met when it comes to cattle.

Horses..I know a thing or two...but cattle...not so much.

There is this thing called RFDTV and my Papa is pretty much obsessed with it, that and the Newlywed Game on the Game show network.

Anyway back to the time I almost bought some cattle.
On RFDTV they do this auction where they are auctioning off cattle...I don't know about y'all but I love a good auction.

I'm pretty competitive and auctions are no different...I like to beat out everyone...sometimes I get so caught up in lifting that little paddle for the highest bid that I forget that you actually have to pay for this stuff.
And this auction is the best becuase you can bid on things from the comfort of your own home...in your pj's.

Let's just say that I was thisclose to purchasing some cute little blonde calf's.
Basically I just wanted one...but they were selling 48 for 1500.00.
Well, that's a little out of my range.

One. I don't know what I'm going to do with ONE calf much less 48.
Two. I think I can find a better way to spend 1500 dollars.

See how cute these little blonde calf's are...they are Charolais (this isn't the actual cattle...I googled these)

Alas...the dream of outbidding some farmer and having my own cattle will have to wait another day.

Until then, I will just stick to what I know.

Reality shows, wine and shopping.

The Weekend

It seems these days I only tend to blog on Mondays.
I think like anything I start...it's always easier to start on a Monday.
Diets, working out, blogging...I always start with good intentions...and then, well you know...you don't see another blog until the following Monday.

I'll try and do better this week.

My mom came down for a visit this weekend

I tried to convince my Uncle to let me ride his bike this weekend.
He pretty much wasn't having it, so I just decided for now I will take pictures...I will work on him some more, surely he will let me ride it

You hit a few curbs and what not, and people think you can't drive a motorcycle...puhhlease.

My Nana and I decided to make some cookies yesterday.
She got out her cookbook, and I asked her which recipe we were doing, she told me...so I proceeded to get the first couple of ingredients.
When I looked down at the bowl, I told Nana she forgot to add the brown sugar..she said,"We don't put brown sugar in this recipe."
I was like..."Yes we do, it says so right here!"

Well...apparently the two of us, we were looking at different recipes and we each were putting in our own ingredients into the bowl.

Needless to say, I walked out of the kitchen.
The cookies turned out pretty good though.
Considering they were from two different recipes.

Hello, Monday

Goooood Morning loves

It's a beautiful morning here in Oklahoma...well, I'm sure it's a beautiful morning...the sun hasn't come out yet...but the weather is the perfect fall temp.
I've already been outside this morning to referee dogs vs. cats round 634.
In case you are wondering the cats won...just like they win every time.
Little ol' Bentley just wants to be friends, but the cats think otherwise.

On a good note, I found my most favorite coffee ever...other than the pumpkin spice latte...nothing will touch that stuff. See...I don't have the keurig here at Nana and Papa's, I have just a regular ol' coffee maker. Therefore I haven' t been able to use one of my favorite k-cups, Caramel Drizzle.
Until today, or yesterday in fact, I was just a shopping away and there I saw it...Caramel Drizzle coffee grinds for the old school coffee pot. The heavens opened and the light was shining and I have never been more excited to wake up at the crack of dawn to drink me some Caramel Drizzle.
Now..that is a good morning....since I've had like two cups, I thought...why not blog...it's the only time in the day I seem to have to blog anyway.

How about this dude that freaking just skydived from space?? Holy crap. Did he just wake up one day and think..."Hmm...screw jumping out of a plane, I'm going to just jump from space."
Thank goodness he made it, it's pretty amazing

Who has been watching the Jersey Housewives reunion?
Talk about all kinds of cray cray.
I don't even have words...all I can say is,Andy Cohen...you are my favorite and I have never liked a reunion more that I liked those 3 episodes and Teresa is legit out of her mind.

Friday night, Nana and I went to have Margarita's.
I just love that little lady.
She had a long day and I needed to celebrate...I pretty much had a kick-ass,awesome work meeting that morning and it called for a celebratory Margarita.
When we were ordering Margarita's the waitress asked her what kind she wanted and my Nana said, "A large one!"
Once again I have no pictures to document...I always forget...hell, the other day I left for work and forgot to put pants on.
I have a lot to remember people.
In my defense, I had pajama pants on...I mean, almost every day last week I did wear leggings which are pretty much close to pj pants...but at least they look presentable.

Bentley loves it out here at Nana and Papa's farm.

Bentley and my Papa are like bff's.
They go everywhere together.
Yesterday, Pa comes in and says, "Bentley found some eggs!"
This is an unusual statement for multiple reasons.
1. Bentley has been a city dog, yes, she is a hound dog, but a city dog and she has never done hound dog stuff...make sense? So, her finding chicken eggs...is pretty much awesome.
2. We didn't think we actually had hens...we thought we had all roosters. Well...unless a rooster can all of a sudden lay an egg...we do in fact have some hens.

So, since Bentley found some eggs...which were hidden in a corner on the ground, Papa thought I needed to get in the pens and gather some eggs.
I think he must be getting on up there, because he seems to have forgotten that I don't do chickens. Nor, do I like to get in there pen, disturb them and take their eggs from them.
See...when I was little, I loved gathering eggs...it was my favorite thing to do...until one day a crazy ass hen decided to attack me and every since then I don't do chickens.
Unless they are battered and fried and come in strips.

Anyway, I proceed to get in the dang pen, and of course the chicken and I start battling. I'm screaming, the chicken keeps hitting it's head on top of top of the pen tyring to get out, I'm standing in there just going in circles...and I hear my Papa yell at me, "Grow some balls and get the chicken eggs!"
Hold up...did my 71 year old grandpa just tell me to "Grow some balls"
Where did he learn that from?
Anyway...I got the dang eggs and told him if he wants someone to gather him, he better train his new bff, bentley the basset hound, because this chick isn't doing it.

The other day I heard my Nana, my 71 year old grandma, refer to someone as a d-bag.

It's clear to me that I should probably say nicer things...because obviously their new sayings are coming from me.

Oopsie.

Happy Monday loves

Words

Yesterday was a CRAZY day...work was crazy, people are freaking crazy...actually insane.
Thank goodness for my Nana...who also had a crazy day and the two of us went to dinner and a movie...where I had a pickle and a coke icee.

Sometimes a 28 year old needs to act like an 8 year old.

Here are just a few words of wisdom that I think we could all hear on those cray-cray days.

Awkward moments

There are a few awkward moments that happen when you move to a new city and start a new job.

Here are just a few of those moments.

When driving home from work one day and you are on the turnpike...not sure where your exit is. You go through the toll booth a second time and ask the lady, "Why do I have to pay the toll twice in like ten miles? We don't do this in Northeast Oklahoma." Toll booth lady,"Well...where are you going?" I tell her. Toll booth lady," Well...honey, you are on your way to Texas. The reason you are paying two tolls is because you missed your exit and there is no way for you to get off this turnpike!"

That was awkward.

When introducing yourself to the communities and meeting new people...the same question over and over that you get asked is not "where are you from?" it's "Are you married?"
Nope, not married...but if you have a son, grandson, brother, cousin, best friend...or know of a real cute guy who loves OSU football, is a good guy...not bad looking either...then here is my business card.

Hook a sister up.

When shopping in the one and only store that has adorable clothes and jewelry and is not 2 hours away(the closest target is like 2 hours away) you feel kinda awkward going in every other day...but the most awkward moment is asking the owner of the store if they want to hang out sometime....because you know no one in that town and you need to make some friends and have a social life.

Nope. Not awkward at all trying to get  someone to be your friend.

I feel like I should be saying, "Hi...I just moved here... and this is crazy, but I have no friends or social life...here's my number...so be my friend, maybe?"

However...the last 30 days or so living in the new city, starting the new job, turning a year older...have been GREAT. Crazy busy, I'm all over the place...but I wouldn't trade it.

Oh and just a few quotes from Nana and Papa.

While watching the Voice and the country music festival the other night, my Nana would change the channels back and forth.
Jake Own was signing on the Country Music festival

Papa: (Pointing to the TV) That guy, he's good...Blake will pick him.
Me: Laughing, Papa...that guy is already a country singer....this isn't The Voice.
Papa: Why did you change that on me, you know I don't pay attention.

While watching Dancing with the Stars...I came home and asked Nana what singers were on there.
Nana: That rapper called Mad Dog was on there earlier.
Me: Thinking for a moment...you mean "Pit Bull?"
Nana: Yes...that's what I said.

It's never a dull moment with those two and I love it!

A little Random

Hey loves....
So...sorry I've been a little MIA on my blog posts...as I've been told my a few people.
Mainly Miss Football and my family.

I thought I should at least stop by and say hi, especially after I get an email from this lady...

and all it says in the subject line is
"You need to blog. Now."

I figured she meant business...so here we are.

What's new, well not that much. Just a lot of life stuff that has been keeping me away from blog land.
This past weekend my mom and I took a much needed trip to Southern Oklahoma where my  family is from...I love visiting my Nana and Papa. Hands down the best people ever. Love them so much.
Here is a picture of my Papa. Hardest working man I know...and he's quite the character, that is for sure.

Always in overalls...and you can't see it in this picture, but he always has a toothpick in. Always.
You know when you have nicknames that you have been called forever and only certain people call you that?
For as long as I can remember my Nana and Papa have either always called me, "punkin, Lyndse Lou, or as my Papa calls me, Lou."

My mom, dad and brother call me Sis.
My BFF calls me Tatum Belle.
My friends call me Lyns or lollipop.

Now that I think of it...I'm not sure anyone calls me by my actual name.
That's ok...I think nicknames are endearing...at least the good ones are, right?
Isn't it funny how some people get nicknames?

Not really sure when this post went to telling you what I've been up too...to nicknames.
Oh well...nothing like a little randomness.

It was nice being able to get away, even it was for a few days and I got to spend it with my family and see my Uncle and cousins that I hardly ever get to see.

Well..that's it for now...on another note, thank you all for your kind words and support on the Inspiration Thursday post.
As an update, I've lost 4lbs.
Holla!!

Have a great day loves, xoxo!

Daylight Savings...and dating advice from my Nana

Can I just say that I do not appreciate losing an hour of sleep.

I need that extra hour....which is probably why I am grumpy this morning and dragging.

Grumpy and dragging...not a good combination.

And last night I had crazy dreams...like I could not go to bed because my brain would not shut off...which is probably why I had the dreams I did.

See...that hour of sleep is critical.

OH...I know why I had weird dreams...I could not stop thinking about Mike dying on Desperate Housewives...I tell you, that through me for a loop. I loved him.

Anyway...my weekend was very nice and relaxing. Went to bed Friday night at nine....like an old person, certainly not like a single women who should be out on the town...in fact, when I talked to my Nana on the phone Saturday morning...and it was early Saturday morning...because when you go to bed at nine you wake up at 6:30. I thought, who can I talk to that is up this early...my Nana.

I tell you, I love that lady. She was meant to be my grandma. I just adore her. She loves to give me dating advice...she is just ready for me to find "the one" and settle down, well, Nana...I am too!

Her past dating advice has consisted of me moving to Alaska...because apparently the ratio of men to women is like 10:1 or something in complete favor for us.

Two things: 1. I do not like cold weather
2. If I have a hard time adjusting to daylight savings time, it would be extremely difficult to adjust to complete darkness for part of the year.

Saturday my Nana informed me that Mr. Right is not going to come knock on my door and drag me out of the house...so she thinks I should join a bowling league or something.

I like to bowl...I might consider it.

The best advice she gave me is when I do find the one and getting married is the next logical step...to make sure that he is my best friend, because when it is all said and done...you look past the superficial stuff...age fades away, but the ability to make each other laugh lasts forever.

Trust me...there is never a dull moment when I am with my Nana and Papa...they may argue, my Nana may change his diet from fried food to leafy greens...but all in all, at the end of the day...they laugh, they live...and most of all they love.

I just may have to listen to my Nana on that one.

Besides, if don't start doing something...I very well may get registered on a dating website...my only saving grace is that Nana doesn't have the internet.

When it rains...I don't mind being lonely...

Hello loves! I'm baaack....did you miss me? I missed you. However, I did have a great time at my Nana and Papa's. Thank you for all your prayers for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery. Papa is doing great, and his surgeon said that on a scale of one to ten...Papa did about a 9.5! Yay!!

Oh, Happy belated Easter too. Hope everyone had a great Easter. If you live in N.E. Oklahoma, or any part of Oklahoma for that matter, there probably wasn't much Easter egg hunting going on, as we were in an all day thunderstorm. I kinda liked it though, because we so badly needed the rain. Plus,I kinda like lazy Sundays, listening to it rain outside, you can take some pretty good naps in that kind of weather, which I did....that is after I got home and changed into some dry warm clothes. See...this blonde okie accidentally may have locked her keys in her car. Which was outside. In the middle of a thunderstorm. Pouring down rain. Yep...that would be me.

I am blessed to have some great men in my life in the form of my baby brother, my dad and Pepaw(not to be confused with Papa. Papa lives in Southern Oklahoma and is recovering from heart surgery) Just had to make that clear. Don't want the doctor coming to get me for keeping my Papa outside in the cold pouring rain...probably wouldn't be good for his recovery. Anyway, back to the ordeal. It looked like the three stooges and a little lady. That should be a movie. Kinda like "Three men and a little lady" Except, this would be one old man with hearing aids and huge glasses(which are super cute btw), a middle aged man who is getting more and more gray by the hour and a teenage boy...who of course knows it all and then me, the only genius one of the bunch. That's right, I did say genius. It really is true, people underestimate my genius capabilities. While they are walking back and forth to the storage shed trying to get a longer part of a fishing pole, debating on if they duck tape a welding rod to the bottom of the pole for extra weight, they are ignoring my request to just take the hanger and try and pull the lever instead of trying to hit the unlock button(which was clearly not working) Finally the old man with hearing aids and big glasses(Pepaw)listened to me and what happened. My car became unlocked.

Yep...I tried to tell them from the beginning, but no they wouldn't listen to my genius ways.

Of course, if I really was a genius...I probably wouldn't have locked my keys in my car in the first place. : )

I love those men for standing out in the pouring rain trying to help me.

Hope everyone has a great Monday and an even better week.

P.S. Please say a little prayer for my mom today. Thank you : )

Mini Vacay in a nutshell

Good Morning loves! Hope every one's weekend was fabulous and that you got to enjoy the great sunshine. I know I did : )

I am one tired gal today, but I had a great weekend for this tiredness today which I will share with y'all in a little re-cap. Here goes it:

My momma, Bella and I road tripped it to Southern OK to visit my two favorite peeps...Nana and Papa. Thursday was my Papa's 69th birthday, so we celebrated that with him and my aunt Jan, her husband and a long time friend of the family. Here is the birthday boy with his traditional German Chocolate cake

Please excuse the look on his face...I caught him off guard, haha.  That evening was filled with lots of stores, laughter and good times oh and not to mention amazing food. We had corn beef and cabbage(traditional Irish food...he is a St. Patty's baby after all, new potato's, salad and for dessert we had homemade peach cobbler(my favorite) with Vanilla Ice Cream...yes I had some despite my dairy allergy...it was a special occasion after all and of course the German Chocolate cake. I realize that Miss Football is rolling her eyes at me right now, because I was supposed to give up sugar for lent...I may have failed.

The next day, I set out to make the Pioneer Woman's Cinnamon Rolls...All.By.Myself. Yep, I did it. They turned out beautifully and oh so yummy. Despite the fact that I blew up the butter in the microwave(how does that happen?) Sorry Nana.

The rest of the day was spent hanging out with Cousin Pam and her son Jackson. Jackson and I spent most of our Morning getting lost...note to self--don't take directions from a 13 yr. old. After he got us lost, I then got us lost somehow even more and ended up by a nuclear power plant...13 hours later ( not really but it felt like it) we finally made it back. We played board games, went fishing-where I was the only one to manage to get a sunburn and only on the right side of my body none the less...I have this very unattractive farmers tan only on my right arm. This pale chick needs to hit a tanning bed or some self-tanners. Quick.

I took this picture of the beautiful sunrise...I have no camera skills what-so-ever, so this picture doesn't quite do it justice.

Nana and I dominated at Domino's...we kicked my mom and Pam's bootie bad. I may or may not get violent and a little aggressive at playing board games or any kind of game for that matter...think Monica on Friends. Yep, that's me with board games.

Oh, I also kinda started a grease fire frying some onion straw things...no worries I put it out.

All in and all it was a great mini vacay spent with the ones I love the most...it was so great to spend some good quality time with my Nana and Papa. I miss them dearly and wish we lived closer.

Bella had a good time too...but mainly she enjoyed the traveling

Hope everyone has a great Monday!!

Oh and P.S. my super awesome skills at picking basketball teams totally played off in the first round of March Madness...because I took first place. Booyah!!

What's a Spring Break?

Spring break, huh?? What's that...oh, its when young ones get a week off from life...must be nice to be young and free and to be able to frolic around. Oh, to be in College again, where Spring Break meant going to Mexico and getting hammered drunk and flirting dirty with some hotties from the Jersey Shore. Those were the days...except those days never happened to me.

Nope, I never partied hard, drank to much tequila(well I have done that just not on spring break), or danced with some dudes who looked liked they were the Situation's long lost twin brother.

And I probably never will. Tear. See, I am old now...way beyond my prime of Spring Breakness, I mean, little brother was talking about how he wants to take a trip for Spring Break. I told him I would be his chaperon if he did. He didn't quite go for that. Go figure.

Do I regret not having a typical college Spring Break? Nope, not really. The majority of my Spring Breaks were spent visiting my Nana and Papa. And let me tell you, those two know how to party hardy. I don't know how many nights those two out lasted me. We would stay up playing dominos into the wee hours of the morning, and those two...they play dirty. I am not saying they cheat...but lets just say, they some how always got the better domino's. Just saying.

Who doesn't want to go to a place where you can sleep on a bed, that you just sink into and forms to every bone in your body. It really is like sleeping on a cloud that is just floating in Heaven. You wake up to breakfast already being prepared for you...whatever you would like too. Lunch and dinner is also catered to your liking. Who doesn't want to spring break it there?

I don't get a Spring Break, but I am taking a few days off this week to go visit my favorite hot spot for SB. No, its not Cabo( although that sounds great right now), or Florida..it's the place of Larry and Linda. I couldn't be more excited.

I get to relax, play some domino's, sleep in, eat yummy food, sleep in a cloud like bed...ahh...the life and most of all I get to spend some good QT time with my fav peeps. We will also be celebrating the birth of my Papa. He is a St. Patty's Day baby.

So, here's to the wild nights I have ahead of me this week. I better brush up on my domino playing skills. I will need it against these cheaters.

Happy Monday y'all!!

Top 2 Tuesday and I think I may have made a bad bet...

Top 2 things you have learned from your parents or grandparents

1. I have learned a lot from my momma. She is a smart lady. I wouldn't be the person I am today without all the life lessons that she has taught me, so its quite hard to pen point just one thing. If I had to choose, I would say my mom has taught me to be independent. I think it's very important for a girl to be able to do things on her own. Growing up and still to this day, if my mom needs something done...she doesn't wait for my dad to do it for her. She does it all on her own. She works 8 hours a day, goes home and feeds all the animals--growing up, we would have anywhere from horses, cows, chickens, goats, dogs, you name it we probably had it--cleans house, cooks dinner and so on. She has taught me the value of hard work and being able to succeed all on your own and not having to rely on anyone. I pride myself in being able to provide myself with a roof over my head, food on the table, etc. Also, I can fix my own washer and mow my own yard and do whatever. Thank you, Mom for showing me how to be a "big girl". I love you!

2. Like I've said before...my Nana and Papa are two of my favorite people. I love them dearly. I have learned from them what true love is. Yes, my Nana and Papa may have their arguments...what married couple doesn't? Especially if you have been married for 51 years...or is it 52, I don't know. My point is. They have loved each other through the good times and the bad, through sickness and health, through richer or poor. They are truly living their wedding vows. I am sure their love story hasn't always been rainbows and butterflies...its been hard work, sweat and tears. They got through it though, because of their love. I see how good they are too each other. I don't want a love story like Johnny and June...I want a love story like Linda and Larry...aka Nana and Papa.

Now on to that bad bet I may have made. You see, I have the most adorable baby brother. I have mentioned him before. But here he is again...I mean, really its hard to say no to those dimples.
He is quite the little stud. But enough about how adorably cute he is. Lets talk about how sometimes this adorably cute boy can be a huge pain in my ass. Its understandable...I think its like a qualification of little brothers to be pains in the asses. Anyway, little brother loves to give me a hard time. Always messing with me. I may be slightly gullible, so the boy knows how to work it and knows what gets me going. Ooh...he's good at what he does. He has had almost 18 years experience with it.

His latest against me is somewhat sincere. See, for some reason he wants so badly to put be on a dating website. One, I think he knows how badly it annoys me and how much I DO NOT want to do online dating. I don't think its come down to that just yet. At least not for me. I swear, every time he sees a commercial about it, he threatens me that he signed me up. I always fall for it. Two, I think he truly wants me to find someone and get married, and he wants to insure that he has a cool brother-in-law that he can hunt and fish with and things like that.

Well, Friday night after the Hunting and fishing show, we make a bet ( don't ask me why I did this) that I have to be in a relationship by the time he graduates. I immediately yell "College" but not so much...its high school. Which is in like less than three months btw. If I do not have a boyfriend by his graduation, than he is going to sign me up on a dating website. Oh Lord, please help me.

So, looks like I need to get busy. Good thing I have my new make-up, I am going to need to be looking good, seeing how I need to find a man by May. Ladies, if you have any single friends, brothers, cousins, who ever in the neighborhood of NE Oklahoma...I need help. Now, he didn't specify how long of a relationship...so I am thinking as long as I have gone on like a date or two...I should be good, right??

I really don't want to end up on a dating website under the control of my 18 year old brother. Why didn't I just bet like money or something??
