It's the freakin' weekend....so gimme that toot, toot...lemme give you that beep,beep...I have no idea why that song popped into my head..I haven't heard that song since like I was 18 or something.

Moving on.

You know how your friends know you SO WELL and they know EXACTLY what freaks you out most.

You would think they wouldn't use that against you,no?

Well...wrong. Miss Football sent the following text like first thing this morning.

Me: Oh goodness, that makes me nervous. You know how I feel about this end of the world stuff.

Miss Football: LOL, that is why I sent it to you.

Me: You're mean.

And that my friends is friendship at it's finest.

And then it was Monday

Happy Monday morning ladies.

I hope it's a good morning and that everyone's weekend was fab.

Let's see what did I do this weekend, Friday night I went out with my good friend Katie and shared a few pitchers of Margarita's and then went to the local bar here in town to just have a few beers and listen to some good ol' country music.

Let me just start out by saying, neither one of us had planned on going out there, so much so that we both dressed in hoodies and jeans.

So, we get to the bar and apparently there is some huge concert going on and everyone that is showing up is dressed way better than we are. Oh well, we don't care...who are we trying to impress anyway...we are two fun loving single ladies just out having some drinks.

Let me tell you, I had the best time. I think it's because I wasn't trying to impress anyone or looking for a cute cowboy or whatever, I was just chillin' in my OSU hoodie, hanging with my friend and two-stepping away.

You know what, I think I got hit on more that night, then  if I had dressed up and was trying to look good, you know what I mean. I think when you are just being yourself, guys notice that above all else, plus I am a dang good two-stepper.

My little bro showed up and we were dancing fools...Julianne Hough and her brother got nothing on us. Well, a couple of Dancing with the Stars trophies, but who's counting really.

Saturday, I got up early to make some Oreo Truffles for my friends baby shower, which turned out so perfect. She had a great day and the decorations were amazing. Pinterest played a big help in the decoration department, wish I had pictures...but alas my camera is dead.

So, Saturday night I was set on watching my Cowboys play against TU at 9:00...a super late game to begin with, but it was a stormy night here in the 918 and the game was delayed until 12:15. This Cowboy fan is old and passed out, so needless to say I did not get to watch my Cowboy's victory over TU but I am sure glad we won!! Go Pokes!!

So, now that I have bored you with my weekend, I am off to work.  I hope you all have a great day!

P.S. Who else is excited for Season Premier week of all the shows. This girl! My DVR is already set!

Just another Manic Monday...

Good Monday Morning!!

 Hope everyone had a great weekend. I know I did. I didn't do much...actually I didn't do hardly anything at all and I LOVED IT. Doesn't everyone just need a weekend to not have any plans what-so-ever, its nice to just have the option to take a nap if you choose too, lay around in your pj's all day and be lazy. Except, I didn't take a nap or lay around in my pj's. I played Just Dance 2...all weekend. Its like I'm a thirteen yr. old girl or something. I swear, I am addicted to that game. I think my mom and I did Just dance most of the day Saturday. We broke it up with a little shopping to Bath and Body Works, Hobby Lobby and Pier One...then we were back at it,lol. Let me tell you something, that game is for sure a workout. I woke up Sunday morning and seriously couldn't lift my right arm. The arm that has the controller gets most of the work, thats how you get points for your moves...I should have killer right arm muscles soon. HAHA!! I wish I had pictures to post, I will make sure to take some next time : ) Whats funny is watching your 17 yr. old brother do the booty shakin songs...he really gets in to it...he might kill me for saying that, but he doesn't read this, so I don't care  : )

Bath and Body works was having their Anti-Bacterial soap sale this weekend...love that soap and love that sale. I bought 7 soaps for $20 bucks. Great deal. Apparently, I still had some left from the last sale and now I have like 14 soaps...I might I have a shopping problem and I think I am definitely good on the soaps for awhile.

I had my first dining experience ordering non-dairy food Friday night. It was for sure a test, because I was at an Italian restaurant. The smell alone about killed me. I could just smell all the yummy cheesiness. I was good and made sure that everything I ordered contained no cheese. I am very proud of myself and ended up choosing a pistachio pesto penne pasta...say that five times fast. It was delicious and the waitress made sure there was no dairy.

I made Chicken Tortilla Soup courtesy of the Pioneer Woman yesterday....so yummy!! I will post the recipe soon. That woman knows what she is talking about.

I am incredibly sore this morning, between Just Dance and starting up a new workout routine...I might not make it through the day. Wish me luck!
