Confessions

Today I am linking up with the beautiful fashionista Leslie over at A blonde Ambition for a few confessions.

Here goes it.

I confess that since after Thanksgiving I have totally gone rogue on my no sugar diet. Yep, I have been eating my weight and plus some in Oreo balls and homemade Reese peanut butter cups. Seriously y'all...if you have never had an Oreo ball, then you have no idea the deliciousness you are missing.

I confess that in order to get a perfect handsome baby boy to sleep yesterday(my boss's son) I may or may not have broke out a little LMFAO, "I'm sexy and I know it"....and to broaden his horizons I sang a little Pistol Annies, "Hell on Heels."

Also, I did sing a little baby got back. I mean, if it worked for Ross and Rachel's baby on Friends...then it will work on any baby.

Little sucker when straight to sleep...with a smile on his face I might add. Clearly that means I am a great singer or he has gas...tomato tomahto.

I confess that yesterday at work, I may have offended someone not once but twice. Let me explain. I was calling on a patient who by the way the paperwork said they were a female. I was talking to a lady(not the patient) and said,"Does she speak English?" She then informed me that he does indeed speak English and then I proceeded to say, "well that's good because neither of us here speak any Spanish." She then tells me ,"that is good because he is Native American."

Oopsie.

I confess that as much as I probably need to get out of the house and socialize...you know because Mr. Right is probably not going to knock on my door. All I want to do tonight is to go home, put on my comfies and finally read "Catching Fire"...I loved the "Hunger Games" and could not put it down...I am dying to read the next book.

and these are my confessions...I may or or may not be off to finish off the Oreo balls.

Hilarious about the Oreo balls. I'm trying to behave today on the sugar thing. But Rozann sent me homeade chocolate chip cookies in my Christmas present...and she makes THE best cookies. So my plan is to not eat any junk today at work but then have one of those bad boys when I get home!

And I'm spending the night in my sweats as well. Forget finding Mr. Right today, I need some me time!

I AM READING CATCHING FIRE TOO!!! What do you think!?!?!? I am liking Hunger Games better, but just am so obsessed with the series :)

Also, I am still cackling at your little oopsie with the Spanish speaking male! :)

Hope you have a great weekend! XOXO

I ordered Hunger Games after seeing a trailer of the movie. I haven't gotten around to reading it yet, but have heard good things about it. Hopefully I'll read it before the movie is released!

Chuckling about the English v. Spanish v. Native American blunder. It sounds like something I'd do. Also, I have a golden retriever named Mr. Darcy (named after one of my favorite characters from one of my favorite books Pride and Prejudice), but people seem to latch on to the Darcy part - and always ask how she's doing (even though he's male). It's an easy mistake to make. But in your situation, the paperwork said female, so I'd have made the same assumption.

In my opinion, whatever you have to sing to get a baby to sleep is fair game! haha I wouldn't worry about the oreo balls. That's what new year's resolutions are for :)
